| Make Your Own Music Video With Mark DiCampo and Emily Grill For Grades 6-8 August 2 - 6, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Learn how to perform for the camera in your own music video. Participants will choose songs that are well-suited to their vocal talents, choreograph some movements, and record their performance for HCAM-TV. | Cabaret Performance Workshop With Mary Scarlata Rowe, and accompanist Sinai Tabak For Grades 6-9 August 9 - 13, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. In cabaret, a performer has a chance to entertain an audience with stories and songs that really connect on a personal level. Participants learn to develop their own style and truly infuse their personalities and individualism into their performance. Students should bring songs they personally want to perform on to this workshop. | From Script to Screen Teen With Karen Webb and Dawn Anderson For ages 13 and up August 16 - 20, 9:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., with a screening August 24, 6:30 p.m. By request, our popular film-making class is being offered to the older group. Spend a week writing, shooting, directing, and editing a short film to be screened to family and friends, and then on HCAM-TV! Participants learn hands-on about the many jobs needed to make a film, as well as some great information about the film industry itself.
